Plano is the name of that whimsical wall seating design developed and produced by Dutch designer, Egbert-Jan Trijnis Lam through his company Burojet.com. His collection of strange seating is his version of “flat” furniture - so not IKEA! He describes his design as ART vs DESIGN which implies that he is trying to combine style with operate.

Plano is actually a collection of wall paintings with integrated seats. The chairs and tables are hinged and can either be pushed into the wall to design part of the painting or let down and secured with hinged panels. that is a great space-saving design that plus incorporates something pleasing to look at.
